Cancer has been cured by a wonder drug, unfortunately, there are strange side effects on test subjects. It shuts down all their vital organs except for a small part of the brain turning them feral and cannibalistic. Not only are they primal, they’re also infectious. The infection has developed causing an epidemic to run out of control, spreading worldwide. Dr Jennifer Ford has been hiding from them since the outbreak. Her home has been both her sanctuary and prison. She sees her life now as a constant battle for survival until she can find a way to reverse the infection. She’s been alone for over a year but now Adam breaks in and disrupts her solitude. Her haven is now under threat. Secrets, nightmares and personal tragedies eat away at both of them. What brought these two together? Is there a cure? Has the human race finally destroyed itself?
